Make a difference during Prince Georges’ “Preserve and Beautify our Environment” Week from April 18 - April 23, by registering for the Spring 2022 Growing Green with Pride cleanup event being held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 (8 am - 12 pm Noon) and by completing one of the challenges listed below.

PGCProud Challenge entries must be received by 5 pm on April 23, 2022.

Signing up for one of the Community Challenges is easy as 1, 2, or 3:
Participate in the utilization of PGCLitterTRAK app and collect the largest amount of litter in your community. PGCLitterTRAK User Sign Up Form (registration for Growing Green with Pride required).
Gather the most volunteers to participate in the cleanup efforts (registration for Growing Green with Pride required). Students encouraged to participate for community service hours.
Create or beautify your community entrance or gateway. Send photos to growinggreenwithpride@co.pg.md.us (registration for Growing Green with Pride required).
Proudly display your beautification projects and upload your litter collection data and photos into PGCLitterTRAK. Your community could win and receive additional items and surprises to continue keeping Prince George’s Growing Green with Pride.
Contest Rules
You must register for the Growing Green with Pride Spring 2022 cleanup event - mypgc.us/GrowingGreen.
Contestants must place litter totals in the PGCLitterTRAK app. Sign Up For App Login here.
Contestants may enter as an individual, community or school, however only one prize will be awarded to the winning entry.
Contestants must be at least 18 years of age.
COVID-19 best practices are suggested during participation at each cleanup event, i.e., social distancing and the wearing of masks.
All photos of community gateways or entrances must be emailed to growinggreenwithpride@co.pg.md.us by 5 pm on April 23, 2022.
All entries for LitterTRAK, pictures of gateways and entrances, and electronic sign up of volunteers on the Growing Green with Pride Spring 2022 application must be received by April 23, 2022, no later than 5pm.
The Prince George's County Department of Pubic Works and Transportation (DPW&T) has the right to publish and showcase the winners on its various media platforms and winning entries may be submitted to multiple media outlets.
All gifts/contributions have been made voluntarily. No promises have been made in receipt of this donation. Prince George’s County Government agrees to provide services as outlined in the partnership proposal with the donor/sponsor. The undersigned waives and releases all rights and claims that might be held against the Prince George’s County Government, its duly elected officials, and its employees to save and hold harmless the County from losses, damages, or injuries.
